Dr. Philip Nitschke is an Australian medical doctor. He is the founder and director of the pro-euthanasia group Exit International and was the first doctor in the world to administer a legal, voluntary, lethal injection. He believed that the Irish interest in his organisation was enough for him to make the effort and travel some 15,000km last March, however only 20 people came to the gathering.
